The Hammershot is automatic shotgun appearing in Shadow Warrior 2.
Overview[]
Hammershot is one of the possible rewards for a story quest Industrial Espionage. If Genocider is picked as a reward instead, Hammershot can be bought from Larry immediately afterwards.
The weapon bonus increases fire rate by 50% for 10 seconds on 2 simultaneous kills.
Usage[]
Probably the first automatic shotgun the player will possess, Hammershot is a decent mean of crowd control up close. Unfortunately, while it has much better clip size and rate of fire than other shotguns player is likely to possess so far, it`s damage per shot is less than impressive. Fire rate bonus further reinforces the more dakka tactics with this weapon.
It`s good if your playstyle is spray and pray, but if you prefer hit and run or ambush styles, then sticking with Hauer or The Stick Of Doom might be better options.
